PIANO LESSONS IN NYC
Riverside Music Studios has specialized in private piano lessons in NYC since 2002, when founder/director Dr. Dmitry Aleexev opened the first studio on the Upper West Side.
Our piano lessons in NYC focus on classical, jazz, popular, or traditional piano pieces or any combination of music styles you like.
Our students range from 4 Â years old to 80 plus, and our experienced piano teachers are happy to work with absolute beginners, intermediate, or advanced musicians.
WHAT DO YOU LEARN IN PIANO LESSONS?
We will be happy to teach you how to read the music at sight, improvise, and even compose your own music if you are interested.
In your NYC piano lessons, we will work on comfortable technique and as much music theory and history as you like. Most importantly, our very patient and encouraging piano instructors will keep you motivated and will help you learn to play the pieces that you love!
OUR SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR PIANO LESSONS IN NYC
We offer classical, jazz pop/rock, and Broadway piano lessons for children of all school ages in our NYC studio and in homes of students in Manhattan.Â
We also offer a special program for young piano students aged 4-7: Piano Games Lessons  are designed to inspire your child and keep them interested in piano lessons. These imaginative piano classes for children incorporate music and movement in a relaxed atmosphere.
Piano Lessons for Adults  are also a very popular program at our NYC piano studio. Learn music you love to play while learning excellent technique. You are never too old to learn how to play piano!
 DURATION
30, 45, 60 minute piano lessons in NYC in our studio; or 60 minutes at your home in Manhattan.
 LOCATION
Our music school is located at Columbus Circle on Broadway and West 60th Street in New York City, where we are proud to have acoustic grand pianos available for piano lessons in every teaching room. We also offer private piano lessons in your home in Manhattan.
FLEXIBILITY
We offer month to month lesson commitments, as well as semester long programs which are discounted. We are happy to offer an introductory lesson before you sign up for weekly piano lessons.
 SCHEDULE
We are open 7 days a week offering morning, lunch break, after-school, after-work, and weekend time slots.
