Who is Martina Copello?
Martina Copello is an Argentinian pianist who began her piano studies in 2002. In 2014, she pursued a degree in Musical Arts at the National University of Arts (UNA), where she developed an interest in contemporary music. She received a scholarship from the Mozarteum Argentino in 2018 and a special mention in the Liszt Competition in 2019.
She completed her degree in 2019 and participated as a soloist with the Electroacoustic Ensemble of the UNA. In 2020, she entered the Higher Diploma in Contemporary Music at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory in Buenos Aires. In 2021, she won the first prize in a piano competition and recorded her first album featuring solo piano works commissioned from emerging composers in Buenos Aires. In 2022, she was accepted to the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg, France, where she currently studies with Prof. Wilhem Latchoumia.
She has performed in various halls and recently performed as a soloist with the symphony orchestra of the Strasbourg Higher Academy of Music.
